Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 25, 2026

The short version: Your calculator inputs stay entirely on your device, they never reach our servers. We use Google Analytics for anonymous traffic insights. The calculator fetches live salary data from the BLS Public Data API. Google Fonts loads externally. We don't collect personally identifiable information. Contact us at with any questions.

1

What We Collect

1.1 What We Don't Collect

The calculator processes all inputs (age, income, career field, etc.) locally in your browser. None of this data is transmitted to our servers.

1.2 What Google Analytics Collects

  • Pages visited and time on site
  • Approximate location (country/city level)
  • Device type, browser, operating system
  • Referral source (how you found the site)

This data is anonymous and aggregated, we cannot identify individual users.

1.3 BLS Public Data API

The calculator fetches live salary data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Public Data API (api.bls.gov). These requests are made directly from your browser. BLS may log standard request metadata (IP address, timestamps). No personal information is sent, only occupational data series codes. The BLS API is a free public government service.

1.4 Google Fonts

We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address and basic request metadata. Google's privacy policy governs this data. No cookies are set by Google Fonts.
